Alice's blue dress based upon Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and the classic Alice in Wonderland illustrations

This dress was made for one of our favorite customers for her un-birthday party.  We designed the dress together, to have the black buttons, lace and pointed front of the movie dress, but retained the larger puff sleeves, white crinoline and while bow of the original Alice illustrations.  With these additions, it retains a bit more innocence than the Tim Burton version.  Shaping the dress with the sash also allows for a lot of size adjustability.

The fingerless almost-gloves were inspired by the striped ones seen in the movie.  We call them "mits" usually, from the french word "mitaines".
